The previous reviewer was right and still such few downloads. Everyone should have this one . I tell my fitness students that Lillian Russell was what true beauty was in early 1900 before the skinny flapper and 1960s Twiggy and current fashion Download and find her picture on the net

Subject: Lillian Russell Come Down Ma Evenin' Star
This was the signature song of the famed "Queen of Comic Opera" star Lillian Russell, and it is her only known recording, done privately in 1912 and re-recorded onto a private label 78 RPM in 1943.
In this recording, you can hear just how operatic her soprano voice was, and the lyrics (which were written in minstrel style), offer a sense of her comic humor.
This definitely deserves a 5 star review!
